GROOVY TUNES BABY

Aloha Friends!

These past few weeks have been full of stress but I am finally on holidays!

 Though it is more of a "work break", since I have exams in January, I've found the time to listen to records, dance in my room, and make a mix-tape.

This is a collection of songs that I've been thoroughly enjoying: some old, some new.

In my last post I said I'd make a seventies themed playlist and though this isn't all seventies, a few of these songs would of been in it :)

I hope you enjoy this as much as I have been!

Mood Board #2 | Sunny Bohemian Vibes ☀

~ Aloha Friends ~

There's a certain direction my style is going in,

and I thought the best way to capture that, is a mood board.

Like a lot of people on the planet at the moment, I've been inspired by the bohemian vibes of the 70's, through film (Almost Famous, Dazed & Confused & American Hustle, anyone?), books (Love Story, yes please!) and most importantly music.

The colour pallet is quite warm and sunny with some cool blue tones on the left side of the board.  

I love the idea of long, luscious, voluminous locks à la Jerry Hall, over-sized fur jackets (faux, of course!), bum-loving denim and massive rose-tinted glasses! 

I'm not too sure what I'm thinking makeup wise... I think I'll be neglecting anything that cakes the face, and opt for a more natural look, while enhancing the eyes and lips, but we'll see!  

Most of all, I want to feel the good of the sun and let it fill my soul with light, despite it being the middle of a harsh winter.

☀I made a youtube channel☀

Hello there!  

This is the first post I've written in a couple of months :( which I'm not too happy about it but I have some interesting news to make up for it.  I made a youtube channel!  

Yaaaay

It all started 3 months ago, when I finally decided to be brave and just go for it.  

Over the past couple of years, friends & family have said, "Oh you should start making videos" or "I can imagine you doing it" and hen I started this blog, my plan was to see how I got on with this concept, and eventually start a channel, but I was so nervous about what other people would think...

It has taken a lot of work and figuring out but I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of things and feel more comfortable in front of the camera!  

I haven't done a whole pile of promoting... I only really told my close friends up to this point, because I was quite shy about it, but writing about it here is a start ;) 

I'm also trying to remember, that I have to be patient when it comes to viewers and subscribers.  I'm not going to have 10K overnight.
